RGBNYC is a brand new exhibit at Color Factory in NY. It’s a floor to ceiling mural painted in the primary colors (of light) Red, Green, and Blue as well as White. Each color depicts its own NY-themed mural. The lighting trick comes in when you hit the mural with saturated color the different murals are revealed…
While we might not be ready to get back to work as normal. We can return normal-ish. Right now, it feels like life right now is lived from zoom call to zoom call. So when one of my designers emailed with a question about how to get light across a 20-foot ceiling, it was a breath of fresh air... Oh yeah! Helping designers! Helping make cool light! That's what I normally do! So I sat at my iPad and make the above sketch and it was rudimentary, and fun and it brought me back to what I really love to do.
