I started Delivered Lumens in April of 2019, at the time I noticed that the specifiers I worked with were facing more and more demands on their time. While the absolute best way to experience light is in person through a great presentation, but as lighting designers, architects and engineers were getting busier it was harder to actually get the time to do those presentations. So I launched this site as way to both create and curate content that I thought would be valuable to the community I try to serve.
Less than a year later, the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted digital communication from an extra to an essential. So I’ve scaled up my efforts through Delivered Lumens to deliver even more content through more means, including videos, blog posts, direct email and social media.
I’ve been a veteran of the lighting industry for more than 20 years. Starting in NYC theater hanging lights in a garage in the west village, my career in lighting has spanned off-off and off-broadway theater, concerts, marketing events, television, pop-up stores, luxury residential, global retail, healthcare and commercial projects.
Today, I get to represent the best lighting manufacturers in the country through my work with SDA Lighting.
Delivered Lumens is my outlet to share ideas, thoughts, products and vital information with the lighting specification community.
