What Light Can Do

Light can do many things and the capabilities seem to be getting more and more complex. PoE controlled, warm dimming, tunable white, color changing, occupancy sensing, geo-locating, sun-mimicking full spectrum, remote beam shaping, blue-tooth enabled wizardry is all we're going to hear about at LEDucation and Lightfair this year. But nothing can ever replace this human touch. I was walking through a hospital today when I came across this outside the electric shop. It's such a simple little detail. The lens of an old fluorescent fixture hand-spray painted with a stencil. It stopped me in my tracks. A simple message transmitted through light. No tricks required.
