Making it easy

Williams has hundreds of fixture types with myriad capabilities for customizations. We at SDA and the team at HE Williams are here to help you write specification around the fixtures your want, while meeting light level requirements and energy code restrictions written into the SCA specifications and design guide.

Tools For Design

Baked right into the HE Williams website are two tools that can make it easy for you to calculate light levels and generate part numbers for for you specs.

The Quantity Estimator

50 Series quantity estimator

Every product on the HEW website has a button marked Quantity Estimator. This tool will give you a way to estimate the number of fixtures needed to meet your desired light levels.

The product Builder

Building part numbers with the correct nomenclature from a cut sheet can be tricky. That’s why Williams has a product builder link on every product page.

Here’s how it works.

Standing behind the quantity estimator and product builder are the applications and customer service teams at HE Williams. When more advanced calculations and refinements are required. You can simply call me and we’ll work through the application. The HEW Apps team can then run calculations that will give you exact footcandle measurements. We’ve also worked on several fixture modifications for SCA work, making it that much easier to meet your specs.
