Four Factories Who Can Ship Right Now
It's no big surprise that lead times have been tough lately. Supply chain issues are slowly easing, but they are not solved; that said, some manufacturers were better prepared for this crisis than others.
If you're in a project crunch, here are four factories that can help you right now.
Downlights
Inter-Lux has both the GDL (general downlight) and their ProTools line in stock and can move right away. (Allow 2-3 weeks for lead time). I recently featured them in the shed, and I think they're a solid option for many projects.
Linear
Coronet has maintained its outstanding stock of materials for all things linear and beyond. (Allow two weeks into NYC four weeks elsewhere). I have been taking specifiers to the Coronet showroom almost weekly, and not only the speed of their work but the quality will blow you away.
Tape Light and Extrusion
NovaFlex is stocked and ready to roll, fast to quote, and quick to ship. They will send pre-built and terminated tape runs, labeled by fixture type, with appropriate drivers in less than ten days most of the time unless it's a huge job. They are absolutely worth considering, with high-quality tape and extrusion for most applications.
All Things Architectural
ALW has broadened its offering over the last few years, and I've written about them multiple times. They are shipping right now under their standard lead times and providing design/shop drawings as quickly as ever. So whether we're talking about rings, linear lighting, cylinders, wet location product, or complex shapes, ALW is ready to work with you now.
