A Line to Look for in 2023 - Arancia
The new year is right around the corner. While I know there’s comfort in sticking with the lines and fixtures you always specify; it’s also an opportunity to bring some fresh products into your designs. A line to look at in this vein is Arancia. Their website is vast (Pro Tip: Check out the Modular section) but here are three products that will give your next design is punch. Here are 4 ways to freshen up your designs with Arancia in 2023.
Create Totally Original Shapes
Fold is a linear system with a hub and spoke design that allows fixtures to come together on hinge points instead of hard corners. Those hinges remove the need for welding, making the system less costly and faster to ship. I would definitely still recommend a fully dimensioned drawing, but this is an easy way to create fun shapes with performance lighting.
Embrace Gentle Luminous Curves
Frici Evo is the latest iteration of the Frici family. This tube of almost 360-degree illumination is not just available as single fixtures but as a complete system with gently sloping curves. But these aren’t just pretty to look at; they also deliver 650 lumens per linear foot, making them a functional lighting element. See the stand-alone and wall-mounted versions below.
Get Bold with Acoustic Cladding
It’s not anything new to see lighting manufacturers using acoustical cladding in their designs, mostly just adding it to their existing form factors. But Arancia has elevated the use of acoustic material to make it a bold design element instead of just another fixture covering. What you see here are Oyo, Avo, Oto and the very bold Aster vertical pendant.
There’s so much more from Arancia, head to their product page and you’ll see really beautiful decoratvie statements as well as performance projectors and elevated drums and pendants. When you need help, just message me.
