Ten In The Shed Erco Beamer
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Ten in the Shed. Blessedly, that’s because I’m actually out in the city making presentations in person in between the plethora of job emails, calls, and meetings that happen every day.
But I believe digital content and learning about light remotely is here to stay; you just have to get creative with the demonstrations. That’s what I tried to do in this video. The Erco beamer is a new exterior flood accent light based on the Eclipse platform. If you’re not familiar, Eclipse is a new track lighting platform from ERCO that allows for a series of snap-on accessories for beam shaping and light manipulation.
Beamer takes this platform outside and gives ERCO a fully field-adjustable outdoor accent light with incredible capabilities for beam shaping, color changing, and wireless control via Bluetooth. In this video, I fire up a beamer out in the yard. We light up a tree, the front yard, and a test wall in the shed to demonstrate how the Beamer works.
It’s an excellent platform for exterior lighting, and I can’t wait to see it on projects.
