See You At Lightfair!

I'm not breaking any news telling you that this week is Lightfair Internation in Philadelphia. I'll be there today and tomorrow learning all I can about what's new across the industry. The general buzz around Lightfair is that it's lost a little something as a show for lighting designers. Smaller spec-grade manufacturers are largely pulling away from Lightfair as shows like LEDucation and LightShow West have grown to such prominence. That said, Lightfair is still the place where major trends and issues are articulated and explained. My focus will be more on the product side this year as my travel schedule didn't allow me to get into too much of the classes. I'll also be running around the city attending the many off-site exhibits being put on by manufacturers around town. I'll be posting recaps here on the blog, but mostly I'll be sharing moment-to-moment stuff on my Instagram Feed - @DeliveredLumens

As so many designers are not coming to LFI this year, my hope to share the most interesting bits of information virtually and follow up with more in-depth presentations both in person and online.
