It Might Be A Short Week, but there's so much going on.
It's a (hopefully) short week for you heading into Memorial Day weekend. I think everyone is feeling the urge to take a break. I hope the slow return to normal means barbecues, road trips, or maybe (gasp) just relaxing.
Live All Day - Inter-Lux and the ProTools 60
We have a busy week of events heading into the long weekend and today might be the busiest of all. Inter-Lux is continuing their end-of-the-month zoom-a-thons with an all-day training session. This time, the gang from Inter-Lux will be discussing their new P60 Linear. I’m looking forward to seeing this growth of the ProTools line. Use this link to get a reminder on your calendar.
Tuesdays at 2 - ALW and Lighting for Wellness
Then of course for Tuesday at 2, we have Lighting for Wellness with ALW presented featuring Mr. Cory Tysoe sitting with our own Olena Zavragina. You'll remember that Cory and I did a similar presentation over the winter, but if you missed it or want the chance to ask questions, jump on today's zoom at 2 pm. Use the Graphic below to register! All Attendees have a chance to win an Amazon Echo Dot!
Something to Read
My friend Beatrice Witzgall has a terrific piece up in this month's Designing Lighting magazine where she dives into the true value proposition of advanced lighting controls. My growing theory of the case is the lighting industry must move beyond talking to itself and start talking to decision-makers not about the value of any particular lighting scheme or project, but about the value of great light itself. The only way we are going to break the cycle of constant value engineering is if owners see high-quality lighting as holding as much value as fine finishes or beautiful stonework. Beatrice touches on this in-depth on the controls side and it's absolutely worth a read.
